As the province’s cancer authority, CCMB leads the way in shaping cancer services in Manitoba. We set the strategic direction for cancer care, focusing on long-term planning, innovative treatments, and prevention. We also develop provincial cancer care standards and ensure radiation protection across the province.
CCMB operates seven locations in Winnipeg and has a key partnership with Prairie Mountain Health in Brandon, offering access to essential services like systemic therapy, radiation therapy, and patient support. In addition, we provide comprehensive care across Manitoba, from prevention and early detection to treatment and supportive care.
Through strong partnerships with service delivery organizations, we bring high-quality cancer care closer to home in communities throughout Manitoba, including urban, rural, and remote populations.
The Paul Albrechtsen Research Institute at CancerCare Manitoba is a hub for cutting-edge cancer and blood disorder research.
