Manitoba's Health Care System provides health services in facilities located on the treaty territories and ancestral lands of the Inuit, Anishinaabeg, Anishininewuk, Nehethowuk, Ininiwak, Nêhiyawak, Dakota Oyate and Denesuline Nations, and on the National Homeland of the Red River Métis. We acknowledge harms caused by colonialism and dedicate ourselves to building relationships and collaborating with First Nations, Inuit and Métis people. Through this commitment, and rooted in truth and reconciliation, we will improve health experiences and outcomes for Indigenous people.
