Role Requirements
- Occupational therapists work in different environments, including hospitals, clinics, rehabilitation centres, long-term care facilities, and community agencies.
- Depending on their role, occupational therapists may spend a lot of time on their feet and are often required to bend, stretch, and reach.
- Occupational therapists work collaboratively with other disciplines to support patient care goals.
- Occupational therapists work eight-hour shifts, including days, evenings, and weekends.
